The Hungarian Development Promotion Office (MFOI Advisory) has been established by the Hungarian Government with the aim of carrying out advocacy activities and helping Hungarian and Central-Eastern European applicants in obtaining direct EU funds. It operates as a background institution of the Ministry of Public Administration and Regional Development, with headquarters in Budapest and an office in Brussels. Its central task is to provide information on direct EU funds, funding opportunities and related policies, to establish a direct relationship between Hungarian social and economic actors and the EU institutions, and provide personalized support to its clients from the emergence of development and project ideas to the directly managed until the application for resources is submitted.
